A layer refers to the sponge inside a single cake (for example, a cake can have three layers of sponge with filling in between). A tier refers to each cake stacked on top of another cake (for example, a two-tier cake has two separate cakes stacked). So a cake can have multiple layers within one tier.

We recommend as much notice as possible, especially for wedding and celebration cakes, as dates can book up quickly. Usually 1 month to 2 months in advance is great but there are times when dates get booked up 6 months in advance so as soon as you know you’d like to book and you know the date please do get in touch. Short-notice orders may be available depending on availability — please get in touch to check.

Yes. We offer bespoke celebration and wedding cakes, as well as our Signature Cakes and Vintage (Lambeth-style) Cakes for those wanting a simpler ordering process.

Signature Cakes are pre-designed to keep pricing affordable, but you can personalise them by choosing: ·         Size ·         Sponge flavour ·         Colour scheme or toppings ·         Adding a name or age (additional charge applies)

Portion numbers depend on the size and style of cake.We’re always happy to advise on sizing to ensure you have enough cake for your guests without over-ordering.When you enquire please let us know the number of portions you require and we can best advise.It's always worth thinking about the type of guests coming- are they cake lovers? Are they small children this may affect how much cake you’d like to order.

Delivery options are available for celebration cakes, signature cakes, including wedding cakes. Collection is also available for smaller cakes. Delivery details and costs will be confirmed during the ordering process. If you would like delivery please state this when enquiring with the address of where you need the cake delivering to and we can quote you.

For celebration cakes, a £50 deposit or 50% if the order is less than £50. For wedding cakes, a £100 deposit is required to reserve your date. Payment terms will be discussed at the time of booking.

Yes! We create brownie stacks, dessert tables, and alternative wedding cake options, as well as combinations of a small cutting cake with brownies, cookies and cupcakes
